A low key country car show which also includes a flower show, best, or worst, behaved pooch contest and various stalls. We’ll have a gazebo for protection from the blazing sun and the usual cheery crowd will be there. Please let me know if you are coming, as limited numbers.  Nick Varlow

After several years’ gap The AHC Scottish Area will be returning to the Scottish Highlands for CHASIN’ THE HAGGIS in 2026!! A 3-day tour will start near Stirling and be based at The Loch Ness Hotel in Drumnadrochit for three nights from Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June 2026. Two loop runs are planned in the beautiful, scenic, habitat of THE HAGGIS on the Saturday and Sunday. Event is currently full. Contact Richard to be placed on the waiting list.  Richard Spalding

A longstanding popular event with around 30+ cars attending, this year celebrating 50 years since Kevin Law started trading and restoring Healeys . Rob and Kevin Law of Orchard Restorations will throw open the workshop doors from 10am–2pm to reveal a range of interesting, mainly Healey, restorations, repairs and service work on the go. A dedicated Austin Healey race will feature at Castle Combe’s Autumn Classic on September 12/13th with the event promoted as the Ian Cox Memorial Trophy, in memory of the Healey 3000 racer who passed away in 2024. As promoter Derek Burles said: ‘We already have entries in each of the 3 classes – 3000s, 100s and Sprites – and Castle Combe provides the perfect venue for those who both race and enjoy the spectacle of these iconic and popular cars’. The North East area have kindly offered to host the 2026 Northern Centre AGM at their regular Noggin and Natter on the 4th Wednesday of the month on 28th October. There will be a light buffet provided and all members are invited to join us. Zoom facilities will be set up to allow remote members to join the meeting. We are planning our usual formula for this event: park around the Green at Staplefield and watch the Veteran Cars as they make their way towards Brighton over the course of the morning.
