A low key country car show which also includes a flower show, best, or worst, behaved pooch contest and various stalls. We’ll have a gazebo for protection from the blazing sun and the usual cheery crowd will be there. Please let me know if you are coming, as limited numbers. Nick Varlow

A longstanding popular event with around 30+ cars attending. Rob Law, of Orchard Restorations, throws the workshop doors open to reveal a range of interesting, mainly Healey, restorations, repairs and service work on the go. Always a good BBQ and good company. 26 July 2026Summer Picnic

(ideal for new members). Jeff very generously hosts this annual event, which allows us to join MG club friends, to drive over his lawn, sit under a gazebo (as required!) and enjoy a summer’s day with BYO picnic in good company. A big show- over 700 cars last year, along with Parts stands, a flower show, a good choice of eats, drinks etc with a good atmosphere. You will need to book via the Capel 2026 website when created, stating that you are an AHC member so that you are allocated to our stand. Nick Varlow
